The comments succeeding this article appear to state much the same thing: this model is 'average-size' and not plus size. Your typical model is too skinny, etc etc.
The many viewpoints around this topic are all valid and the fact this is so revolutionary shows , in my opinion, the trends of where society is heading. The fashion industry is a cruel one, but perhaps we will see more of these 'plus size' models in the future as a more accurate representation of popular society.
